Making a difference with every rotation of my pedal...

YEY--I DID IT!!!  From June 1-7, 2008, I biked in my first AIDS/LifeCycle...  I pedaled each of the 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles during our 7-day journey to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Checkout the photos and commentary of my sublime, life-altering experience: http://www.flickr.com/photos/abigailpicache/  When clicking on "Slideshow", please be sure to click on the "i" on the photo to read my comments.  Hope you enjoy them!  :)

Thanks to your contributions, I raised over $3,000.00!!!  The money you donated supports the San Francisco AIDS Foundation--their mission is to end the pandemic and the human suffering caused by HIV.

  • AIDS/LifeCycle7 raises a record $11.6 million to fight AIDS.

Thousands of individuals in our community receive life-sustaining services as a result of the money raised through AIDS/LifeCycle. Your contribution is fully tax-deductible.  Even though the ride this year is over, you can still continue to donate.

Plus, I already registered to participate in next year's ALC8 ride!  So, look for my request to continue your support and encouragement in 2009!  :)  I will participate until a day without HIV comes to fruition.

Thank you for supporting me through this incredible journey... one pedal rotation at a time.

    My very best always,

    Abigail
