Jack Gish (4/28/08 9:51PM): On behalf of my brother Mike Gish, I would like to tell you that the efforts of this ride is in memory of one of the greatest person's that anyone would have ever met. You knew when Mike was around because of his personality! He could make positives out of negatives and your problems became his. His effort to help in any way he could made him happy!! Just to make you happy!! This ride I know is looked upon by Mike and when you ride from S.F to L.A. Mike will be with every pedal rotation! Mike's memory lives in all those who were his friends, cause he always talked about you and the great times he shared. Never forget the purpose of the ride, for we all share the common goal that we will live fearless of such a life taker. In memory of Mike Gish, a beloved brother, son, and friend....ride on!!!
