Get great swag and Karma

Jeeeeez again???? well yes and I am getting a LATE start.   So you all have been so generous and so supportive in the past. I am working in the medical tent and then riding during the day like the past years and I am on the team Funky Monkey.  So please forgive the late notice but its that time of year AGAIN.  And once again we are rising to the challenge.

I work in ER's where I see HIV+ pediatric patients. These kids as well as men and women in their 30's 40's 50's are still converting. All of these patients could have been better  supported with educational programs. However these programs as well as continuing programs providing medical care and medications need cold, hard, NO STRINGS attached cash.  Your donation is Angel Money. It can be used for anything. No federal or foundation rules, its golden.

SO my butt is in the saddle and hopefully I will not need an IV again this year.

Whatever you can ask of yourself is fine with me (remember I KNOW what we all spend on drinks and sunglasses) it all adds up......AND when i see you next you want that big big hug and a free ass grab (puerto rican....biker.....yeah).

The T shirts are back!! Any pledge over $50.00 gets a shirt and endless karma.

THANKS!- Vince

Messages of Support for Vince

Paulie (6/03/08 2:09PM): Hi Vince It's 90 and humid here in Miami. But you're in beautiful CA riding your bike and doing something wonderful and worth while. Keep those pedals moving. You'll have calves to die for once you're done! We are so proud of you! Hugs - Paul & Russ

Suzan Revah (6/03/08 10:18AM): Hey honey!

Your girl in San Francisco is cheering you on, so incredibly proud of you for participating in this amazing ride and journey.

Your buddy Alec Mapa asked about you when I had the chance to perform with him at Gay Day Great America a few weeks back, and all of your Pussy Posse pals here in SF are hoping we'll see you soon, maybe for Pride weekend?

Till then, keep on riding and keep on keeping on. You are an inspiration (for many reasons including and beyond the AIDS Lifecycle), and you have a world of love and support at your back.

May the road rise up to meet you...

Hugs and kisses, Suzan

Dorell Mitter (5/30/08 1:34PM): Hey Vince - Best of luck w/ the race. See ya soon!

Rob Shenfeld (5/11/08 4:02PM):  Vince -- you're amazing and inspiring. You Rock!! Rob

Nick Velasquez (5/04/08 9:09PM):  Vince...thanks for this - and all that you do, as both a healer and a decent human being - to make this world a better place.

You continue to inspire me.

As you may know, I lost my father to AIDS in 1991. I was 11 years old.

Your efforts - and the efforts of each and every member of your team, and each and every participant in this amazing endeavor, are vital to ensuring that one day - soon - little boys and girls will not know such loss...will not know such pain.

I know you'll continue to make us all proud.

Be careful out there. Stay hydrated!

:)

Yours,

Nick-

You look great! :) What a great event. Good for you. I can't do the ride this year, but I want to do it next year. I'll be sending good thoughts your way!
