MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

I DID IT, I DID IT IDID IT!!!!

WOW what a thrill.  To be honest I wasn't sure I could do it, but I did it and in flying colors!  I peddled the entire 545 miles with only two minor misshaps (flat tires)   What really surprised me was how fast I could ride. I usually ended in the top third of the group when finishing.

..And thank you for your support, your kind words and all of you who made the very generous donations that made this all possible!

My next great question is...what next???

Let the good times (continue to) roll!!

Love,

Brian

Messages of Support for Brian

Mike S (6/05/08 11:41AM): Hey Brian me again...by now that dress you've been wearing is a big mess!!! Good mess Im sure tho' Party down for me tonight...should have planned my work week out better because I was in Paso Robles, Salinas just last week. I could have been out here to cheer you guys on...oh well work dictates the travel days I guess. Ill be thinking about you as you get closer to the finish line. I hear you are a stong rider...you'll have to give me pointers from one "older but sexy" guy to another on how in the hell you do it. You know there's a trance song out about wearing a dress...something like..."wear that dress, the one that you wore, the one that I adore...probably have to hear it huh? Take care!

Mike S. (6/05/08 8:29AM): Brian!!! Bud!!! By the time you read this you should be home. So why werent you in the pic with Chris and the gang with your red dress? Needed a little extra time getting all dolled up didnt you?? You guys undoubtedly had a blast today...there was a dance too, right? Guess you know that the event is getting close to finishing. Guess you are happy and sad at the same time. I told Chris that Im envious of how much fun you guys are having. Well keep up the good work and I'll see you on the beach in Ventura. Keep an eye out for me or Ill never find you guys. Take care on the rest of the ride, ok?

Mike Stafford (6/04/08 6:34PM): BRIAN!!! Your're over half way home!!! Congrats on another successful ride. Hope you had a trouble-free ride and that you had another fun day in the California sun! Sorry I missed your call...I was chasing an armadillo (really!) out of my landscaping and didnt realize you had called until I got back in the house. Im sure you are jazzed about tomorrow. I know it is your shortest day and I know its wear the red dress day...looking forward to seeing pics of you in a dress!!! Im sure its FAAABBBUUULLLOOUUSSS! Have another safe day tomorrow. Ive decided to join in with you on Friday night in Ventura so if you would like for me to bring you any thing let me know. Im officailly a Californian again since Im not back in Salinas so we are on the same time zone. Have a great night...be safe and I'll see you soon! Keep up the good work!

Mike Stafford (6/04/08 5:56AM): Yeah Brian!!! Youve crossed the half way mark today. Yeah!! What an amazing milestone for you.
