Janora from nomoredownlow.tv takes us on a tour of Day 5 of AIDS/LifeCycle, better known as Red Dress Day.
It’s been an incredible journey as our NoMoreDownLow.TV team follows Janora McDuffie on her bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Yesterday, we made it half way to LA as Janora finished what is called the “Evil Twins” – a couple of monstrous hills. Today is a shorter day – only 41 miles from Santa Maria to Lompoc.
It’s also Red Dress Day! So, riders are wearing outrageous red dresses and red costumes to symbolize a red ribbon and continue to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS along the way.
The AIDS LifeCycle
ride began in San Francisco on Sunday, and will end in Los Angeles on
Saturday. This is the 10th year of the annual fundraiser for the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
