AIDS Lifecycle - Ride to end AIDS

AIDS/LifeCycle 10K Club

Who? YOU!

AIDS/LifeCycle’s 10K Club is comprised of AIDS/LifeCycle participants who have committed to raising at least $10,000 for the fight against HIV/AIDS. They are a diverse group including newbies, veterans, roadies, and cyclists. Some live in California, others live in areas across the U.S. and beyond. Some are experienced fundraisers, but many are fundraising for the very first time. There are no limits to who can join.

Members of the 10K Club make a significant impact on the success of the ride. An average of 13% of participants will be members of the 10K Club and collect 37% of the total donations for the Ride! By raising $10,000 or more, 10K Club members help us keep the cost of fundraising low and ensure that the most money possible goes to the HIV/AIDS services of the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

How do I get involved?

The best way to get involved is to meet people just like you who are pushing themselves to do something extraordinary. We guarantee you will be inspired by the stories you hear! Join us for happy hours, workshops, and social gatherings. Learn what motivates other 10K Club members, success stories and strategies, and what keeps them inspired to achieve their personal goals.

If you're an experienced 10K fundraiser and would like to mentor other participants, we'd love your help! Contact your Participant Representative to discuss opportunities to help with one-on-one coaching, workshops, speaking at fundraising events, and more.

How does someone like me raise $10,000?

The first step is to set a goal of $10,000 or higher. That sounds simple, and it probably sounds really scary, but trust us - you CAN do this! Contact your Cyclist Representative or Roadie Manager for help creating a plan, tools to help you achieve your goal and ongoing coaching and motivation. We can help you with your "big asks", connect with other 10k participants, and more. We are here to help you achieve fundraising greatness!

Where does the money go?

This group of ambitious and dedicated participants plays a vital role in ensuring that the HIV prevention and care services of San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center continue to support communities most vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. The money raised through AIDS/LifeCycle goes directly to the prevention of new HIV infections, the reduction of stigma around HIV/AIDS, and helping individuals living with HIV/AIDS access medical care. We want to thank you for your courage and commitment. We could not set such an ambitious goal of ending AIDS in our lifetime while continuing to take care of those who are living with this disease without the commitment, compassion, and generosity of our AIDS/LifeCycle participants.
