All Cyclists and Roadies must attend Orientation Day

Opening Ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM, immediately followed by Ride Out.

Arriving at Opening Ceremonies

Cyclists and Roadies should arrive by 5:00 AM. (Some Roadies may have a different meeting time and place; please confirm with your Roadie Captain).

Upon arriving at the Cow Palace for Opening Ceremonies, take your gear bag to your assigned Gear Truck. There will be signs and volunteers to direct you to the correct truck.

After dropping off your gear bag, proceed to the arena for Opening Ceremonies.

Parking and Dropping Off

Spectator parking is available for $8 per vehicle. Participant drop off within the main Cow Palace gates is also available. No vehicles will be able to access the main gate after 6:30 AM.

Please Bring to Opening Ceremonies
  • Your gear bag Take your gear to your assigned Gear Truck before Opening Ceremonies.
  • Your ID, cash, credit cards and insurance card Please note - Make sure not to pack these items in your gear bag.
  • Your helmet with your participant number affixed to the left side.
  • Full water bottles and/or hydration pack
  • Your bike box If you have made arrangements with your Cyclist Representative for ALC to transport it to Los Angeles for you. Be sure to label your bike box with your name, phone number and participant number and give it to the Roadies assigned to yoru Gear Truck before proceeding to Opening Ceremonies. Remember, your bike box must be empty when you hand it over to the Gear Team.
