Welcome to AIDS/LifeCycle 11! Who is ready to Rock out ALC 11?! If your are one of our beloved newbies, Welocme and Thank You for jumping in and committing to the fight against HIV/AIDS! If you are a past participant, Welcome Back and Thank You for joining us AGAIN!!!
I am so excited to work with you all and help you to achieve the goals you have set for your selves. From training to fundraising, buying a bike to changing a tire and even learning about butt butter - I am here for you. Please be sure to contact me whenever you need to. I love being of service! I also encourage you to contact me about your successes too! Oh and I love stories so if you want to share them, I am all ears.
The next year is going to be filled with goals, achievements, new friends, laughter, community, tears and a sense of creating change. I encourage you all to celebrate each moment as we work toward our week long goal of AIDS/LifeCycle 11. There is nothing quite like climbing to the top of a hill, looking back and right before the descent realizing that YOU'RE the one who climbed the hill and all your training and hard work paid off. It's outstanding. This is probably not the first time, nor will it be the last, that you hear this... The community is also amazing. I have never been around so many amazing people all there for the same fight. The experience of the Ride itself will leave you with a lifetime of memories and new friendships.
There are many things we do in this world but I have never come across something so noble, humble and rewarding as AIDS/LifeCycle. Together we are making a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS. You are making a difference in the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS. You are a Hero!
Please be sure to stay tuned for future updates and be sure to check the ALC Calendar on our website regularly for training rides, workshops and events that will help you prepare for the Ride.
