As a recent transplant to Los Angeles via Seattle, I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to work for AIDS/LifeCycle! One of my favorite things about working here is the sense of community, not only here in LA, but throughout the ALC family. For me, signing up for ALC was literally a life-changing time as I went from doing the ride to now a few months later, uprooting and moving to work for a cause I strongly believe in. No matter your shape, size, identity, or rider level, YOU belong here!

We live in a time where HIV/AIDS is still very deadly. Without people like you who raise money and awareness for the cause, many would go without treatment. The funds raised enables L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation help those impacted by HIV/AIDS receive treatment and the care they need, and provide targeted prevention efforts for high-risk populations. This week will change your life. YOU are a HERO!

I had heard about the ride from the previous year that he did and had friends who had done it in the past, but had never done it myself. This conversation would ultimately change the course of my life.
