DAY 1: OPENING CEREMONY AND RIDE-OUT REMINDERS

Eat a good breakfast! We will have a light breakfast of oatmeal, fresh fruit and Equator Coffees available for you.

Arrive by 5:00AM. It will take some time for you to drop off your gear, grab a snack and coffee. NOTE: NO vehicles will be able to access the main gate after 6:00 AM. Parking for spectator vehicles costs $15.00

Upon arrival, take your gear bag to your assigned Gear Truck. There will be signs and Volunteers to direct you to the correct truck. After dropping off your gear bag, proceed to the arena for Opening Ceremony.

If you were unable to attend Orientation Day: you must arrive at the Cow Palace at 415am PT to view the safety video – look for signage for “LATE CHECK-IN”. Participants who miss this video will not be able to Participate as a Cyclist or Roadie for the day and will be bussed to Camp 1.

Opening Ceremony starts at 6:00AM followed immediately by Ride Out.

If you have friends and family that would like to attend the Opening Ceremony they are welcome to join us. They will need to provide proof of Vaccination + (one) booster to enter Cow Palace and will be asked to wear a mask. Out of an abundance of caution for the whole community, guests will be required to sit in the seating above the arena and all AIDS/LifeCycle participants will be on the arena floor for the ceremony. In addition, friends and family are invited to view all events via live stream.
