Welcome to the Saturday East Bay training series! This series is designed as slow ramp-up starter series for new riders but welcomes riders at all skill levels, including those who haven’t ridden a bike in years and those who may be recovering from injuries.

Hello Diablo! This week the Wildcats tackle Mt. Diablo. We head up through Moraga to Lafayette and over to Danville before we try some new territory near San Ramon as we wind our way up to Blackhawk. Lunch is at Draeger’s in Blackhawk at mile 28. If you’re planning to climb, don’t skip on eating first. From Draeger’s we tackle Mt. Diablo to the Ranger Station, not the very top this time. This portion of our route is an up and back on the south side of Diablo. Not feeling like climbing? Skip it and stay on route as we will then make our way to Alamo before heading back to Orinda.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.

If you are interested in attending, please be sure to RSVP. Have questions? Contact the Wildcats Facilitator at alc.wildcat.trls@gmail.com
