Welcome to the Saturday East Bay training series! This series is designed as slow ramp-up starter series for new riders but welcomes riders at all skill levels, including those who haven’t ridden a bike in years and those who may be recovering from injuries.
UPDATE – NEW ROUTE! This week the Wildcats will focus on endurance with long steady climbs. We head up the Bears and out to Hercules. We will then climb through Crockett and wind our way along the Carquinez Scenic bike path and down to Martinez. Will will continue towards Pleasant Hill and climb along Taylor Blvd as we head out to Danville and Lunch at Lunardi’s. From lunch we will take make a loop out along Diablo, Blackhawk and Camino Tassajara. We will continue back up Danville Blvd to Tice Valley for our final rest stop before making our way through Moraga on our way back to Orinda.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win!

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
