Welcome to the Sunday Orinda Ride Series. We are an all-pace/all-skill training program. We invite everyone – from novice to speedy – to join us.
The 16th week brings on some wonderful challenges. It’s time to summit The mountain! We start by riding some familiar territory to Pleasant Hill where we will make sure we have water and snack before we head to Walnut Creek and start our journey up Diablo. We will take it one sign post at a time. Enjoy the ride and take a photo at each thousand feet marker. Once we get to the Ranger’s Station, grab something to drink and have a snack. If you are up for it , it’s time for more climbing to see the wonderful east from the summit of Mt Diablo. From there, we ride down the south side and make our way to Blackhawk for our lunch stop at Draegers! You’re now halfway done! We’ll then swing out to Dublin before heading back through Lafayette and St. Stephen’s path back to Orinda! This ride is a doozy!

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
