Houston-Area 2024 Kickoff Ride
17/30 Miles Flat
Meet: 8:15 AM
Ride-Out: 9:00 AM
Rain Cancels
Join us for the Houston-Area Kickoff of AIDS/LifeCycle 2024! Ride will predominately be on the Sims Bayou Hike and Bike Trail between Blue Ridge Park and TX-288. First loop is an out-and-back along the Trail. Second loop starts and ends on the Trail but also includes some riding on surface streets: about 1 mile on W. Airport Blvd, which has a bike lane, and the rest on residential streets. Route is mostly flat but it does have some small descents and ascents as it passes under streets. The Sims Bayou Trail is relatively new, and most people don’t know about it yet, which makes it a calm, quiet ride even on a Saturday. Ride will be rescheduled in event of rain.
