Houston-Area ALC Training Series
Come to bicycle-friendly Fayetteville for some fantastic hill training! This ride has three loops: 18.9 miles, 24.4 miles, and 20.3 miles, all starting and ending at the Fayetteville Town Square. There are no flat lands on this ride. It’s all hilly, with some grades up to 9%! Total climbing is 2662 ft. All amenities are at the Fayetteville Town Square. Be prepared to ride 24.4 miles without a rest stop. Ride will be re-scheduled in event of rain. Fayetteville is about 96 miles from Downtown Houston and 78 miles from Downtown Austin. Austin riders, consider joining us and meet Houston ALC Riders! If the drive is too long for you, consider staying for the night or the weekend at one of the many B&B’s in the area.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations!

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
