Houston=Area ALC Training Rides
Given that a downed power line prevented us from taking the Zube Park Loop last month, we’ll head back to Waller one more time for another try at the full Waller Wunderlust! First loop will be the Zube Park Loop. It features a forested area that is absolutely beautiful! For our second loop, we can choose one of the three loops with total mileage up to 64 miles. Headwinds can make this ride a challenge! All routes start and end at the Waller Auxiliary Stadium parking lot. There are no restroom facilities at ride start. Use the Chevron station at the corner of Field Store Rd and US 290 or Buc-ee’s at the corner of US 290 and FM 362 prior to ride start.
All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride and meet some cool people. That’s a win!
