We’re a year-round community! Come to any of our workshops, training rides, special events, and social outings, and don’t forget to bring a friend.
If you’re looking for a specific type of event, use the the “Narrow Your Results” menu below to filter by event type (we host all types of events, so there’s something for everybody!) or by Region by selecting NorCal, SoCal, or Outside CA.
Join us for the AIDS/LifeCycle BIPOC Kickoff Ride!
Are you ready to kick off the AIDS/LifeCycle 2022 season? Join the BIPOC AIDS/LifeCycle community for a fabulous Kickoff Ride! AIDS/LifeCycle Kickoff Rides are beginner-friendly, all-paces-welcome, and open to all! If you’re curious about joining the Ride, this is a great way to get to know the community and go on a ride with us before deciding to register.
The AIDS/LifeCycle BIPOC group is a community within a community – where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color can train together, share tips and resources about how to prepare for the Ride, and find empowerment in taking on the challenge of AIDS/LifeCycle.
We have a delightful 18-mile route to enjoy. We will meet at Sports Basement in Berkeley at 10 am and roll out at 10:30 am. From there we will head out to Treasure Island by way of the Bay Trail. Once we reach the island we will turn around and from there we will ride back to Sport Basement.
We’ll have printed route sheets for all who RSVP and we’ll go over important safety tips in the morning. AIDS/LifeCycle training rides are planned and supported by Training Ride Leaders and we can’t wait to train with you this season!
***This space is intended for all folks who identify as BIPOC but all are welcomed to attend. We ask that you please honor the space.
