Get the New Year off to a great start with the traditional Chain Gang New Year’s Day Ride – EVERYONE is welcome!

Spending the first morning of 2024 on your bicycle, riding through quiet streets in good company (with a picturesque photo stop at the ocean) is a great way to begin the year, spend the morning with lovely people, and lay the foundation for your goals.

We will meet at Trek Bicycle Beverly Hills (formerly iMartin) and make our way through Bellagio to Brentwood for a quick pitstop, followed by a loop down San Vicente to greet the ocean, before making our way back to iMartin.

We even give you an extra hour to sleep in, with a later-than-usual meet time of 9am – see you there!

The route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45109482?privacy_code=gFlELY0eyYzOuvT1Ai9ZMsJ0h4d4sUea

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP so we have an idea of who’s coming. Have questions? Contact Doreen Gonzales at dcgbiker@yahoo.com

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.

COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained.
