Welcome to the Marin Marauder’s Progressive Spring Fling Sunday Rides. The Spring Fling Progressive rides are designed to get you ready for the epic BIG ride in June. We start off with smaller rides and build each week until you are riding over 100 miles a day and climbing like a pro. If you take part in this series you will most certainly be ready for ALC 2024. Not only are the rides epic, but the scenery and the people are too. We are a warm and welcoming group of cyclist of all ages and shapes. All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.

The ride is one of the Marauder flag ship rides. To say its one of the most beautiful routes in Marin is not giving it proper credit. We will head out through Fairfax and climb White Hill and Nicasio Hill with a brief rest in Nicasio. From there we will head over to Pt. Reyes station for their famous Buffalo Ice Cream and other yummy treats. After a rest we will climb Olema Hill before riding through Samuel P. Taylor Park. Let yourself cruise the park in all its beauty and just feel the serenity of it all. In the park are also two Marauder landmarks. One is the Magic Tree where it’s almost required to get your picture! The other is Rachels Restroom, a clean pitstop named after a long time Marauder. We will then head back to Hal Brown park.

The route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/22560811/

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP so we have an idea of who’s coming. Have questions? Contact Ken and Temo at marinmarauders@gmail.com

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.

Parking: The rangers have politely asked us to NOT park directly in front of the park. Rather park further down Bon Air Road or on the opposite side of the street from the Park. By doing so, we will give greater access to the park by other patrons
