Welcome to the Marin Marauder’s Progressive Sunday Rides Training Series. The Spring Progressive rides are designed to get you ready for the epic Big ride in June. We start off with smaller rides and build each week until you are riding over 100 miles a day and climbing like a pro. If you take part in this series you will most certainly be ready for ALC 2023. Not only are the rides epic, but the scenery and the people are too. We are a warm and welcoming group of cyclist of all ages and shapes. All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.

Third times a charm. Since our last two attempts at this hill were rained out, we are truying this again! Our ride this week is the famous Wilson Hill ride! It takes us to Petaluma for lunch, and home via Novato. We head out over familiar territory out to Fairfax, taking a right after Whites Hill to stop at Rancho Nicasio. Heading on past the Nicasio Reservoir, we’ll take a right at the Petaluma Point Reyes Road and head up to the Marin Cheese Factory for a second quick rest and regroup. Leaving the Cheese factory, we chart new ground, taking a left at Hicks Valley Road and tackling challenging Wilson’s Hill (everyone’s favorite!), enjoy the spectacular view from the top, and the ensuing decent. We will have lunch in Petaluma, and enjoy a route back to Novato using bike paths where possible. Our last stop will be in Novato, then through San Rafael, which will take us home back to Hal Brown Park.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
