Welcome to the Saturday East Bay training series! This series is designed as slow ramp-up starter series for new riders but welcomes riders at all skill levels, including those who haven’t ridden a bike in years and those who may be recovering from injuries.
Let’s celebrate our accomplishments of the season together! We’ll meet at Orinda BART and ride a 15-mile clockwise loop of a mix of street and trail riding, including familiar parts of routes from the season. We’ll end at Orinda Oaks Park for our celebration picnic at Orinda Oaks Park (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Orinda+Oaks+Park/@37.8547038,-122.1532298,17z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x4cb7105f328ae44!8m2!3d37.8552629!4d-122.1531976), just off of Moraga Way. Bring food and drinks to share. We’ll have someone collect all of the goods at Orinda BART and transport them to the park for us to enjoy together. Afterward, you’re welcome to ride the 2.5 miles back to Orinda BART. You’re also welcome to meet us at the park if you choose not to ride.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win
