This series is designed as slow ramp-up starter series for new riders. The East Bay Wildcats welcome riders at all skill levels, including those who haven’t ridden a bike in years and those who may be recovering from injuries.
This week we do one giant loop, with no easy bailout options, and a fair amount of climbing. We will ride through Moraga and Lafayette before climbing the backside of Reliez Valley Road on our way to Martinez for our first real rest stop at Starbucks. From there we ride through Crockett and Rodeo before heading to Peet’s/Chipotle in Pinole for lunch. We finish our day climbing Castro Ranch and San Pablo Dam roads on our way back to Orinda BART.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win!
