South Bay Blaze – Almaden Valley Ride
53.1 Miles, Rolling Hills & Steep Climbs
Meet: 9:00 AM
Ride-Out: 9:45 AM
Heavy Rain Cancels
Welcome to the South Bay Blaze training rides! These “series” rides are designed to help develop your strength, safety, and confidence while you train to become more ‘road-ready’ without being left behind. All rides in our series are posted at “all pace levels welcome.”
In this ride of our 2019 training series, we’re covering some beautiful, new, territory. We’re heading south toward Saratoga, Monte Sereno, and Los Gatos out to Almaden Valley by way of Kennedy/Shannon/Hicks Rds and over to Camden Ave. We’ll circle around the Alamitos Creek area to Almaden Lake and back onto Shannon to return through Los Gatos by way of Mt. Eden and then back through Cupertino to Sunnyvale. It’s an excellent route with lots of fitness ahead for all. Don’t miss this one. A super fun ride.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
