Welcome to the South Bay Blaze training rides! These “series” rides are designed to help develop your strength, safety, and confidence while you train to become more ‘road-ready’ without being left behind. All rides in our series are posted at “all pace levels welcome.”
In this ride of our 2019 training series, we’ll get our first shot at our second canyon ride, as we head around the Steven Canyon reservoir and then up into the canyon itself. Then we’ll cruise over Mount Eden, but then exit out of that area by way of Pierce Road and take the high road into Los Gatos. This will be the first week we have lunch out on the route, so bring some sandwich money for that. We’ll take the long downhill with pride as we head down Quito Rd, and then back to Sunnyvale. A super fun ride.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride!
