AwsomeAhead! Volume 8 Chapter 8 – Dumbarton Half Century Across the Dumbarton bridge we’ll go in our half century loop around the south bay. So while it’s flat, it’s still 50 miles. With two rest stops and lunch break – they’ll be plenty of opportunities to fuel up. Cross the bay in a dedicated bike lane and enjoy the unique perspective only being out in the middle of the San Francisco Bay can provide. What follows is a gorgeous perimeter “south bay loop” – through the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge – into Milpitas and back into Sunnyvale via the Coyote Creek Trail and back behind Great America on the San Tomas Bike Trail.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have route alternatives during the ride. You will have a great bike ride!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
