The Marin Marauders social rides are designed to bring together fellow cycling enthusiast for fun and sometimes challenging rides. Our rides between July and October are SOCIAL only and are NOT at all part of the AIDS Lifecycle Training rides. Think of them as just a ride with friends!
The rides are ideal for you regardless of your cycling skillset. Our social rides will have both rides a short and a longer option. We meet at the park opposite Marin General Hospital on Bon Air Road in Greenbrae, and ride on Sundays. All the Marin Marauder social and training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
Our tweleth ride is stunning and you don’t want to miss it. From Hal Brown we will head over White Hill and to Samuel P. Taylor Park. The park is one of the most beautiful areas of Marin and is the location of the Magic Tree! (Ask a Marauder).
From the park we will head into to Pt. Reyes for some of their AWESOME Buffalo Ice Cream before heading back via Nicasio. For those that want a longer route, we will be adding on China Camp via Novato as well!
The shorter route is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36942319/. The longer route is:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21252161/
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
