Surprise! Bet you didn’t know that there could be a second ride out of the little town of Orchard, TX! To avoid freezing cold temperature at ride start, we’ll do one loop today of 27.7 miles between Orchard and Wallis in the afternoon hours. Rest stop will be the convenience store in the center of Wallis. Terrain is as flat as flat can be. Forecast predicts light wind and sunny skies, so this should turn out to be a pleasant way to get back into gear for the New Year despite the recent cold snap.
