You have been training and riding and climbing all season, now it’s time to join the Chain Gang for the full version of Doreen’s famous Thrills for Hills route, and climb the big hills with beautiful views! We will take you on a short trip through Griffith Park before we start our first long climb up Chevy Chase. After a lovely descent to the Pasadena Rose Bowl, our first pit stop is at Noah’s Bagels.

From there, we head further East to Sierra Madre Blvd, with more climbing along New York Ave and through Altadena as we make our way back towards the Rose Bowl. Enjoy the downhill because we are about to climb again as we tackle Lida, and climb back up the second part of Chevy Chase.

After a well-deserved pit stop in Montrose, we get to enjoy a beautiful long descent along Verdugo and La Canada on our way to Sunland for the last climb of the day: La Tuna, because we save the best for last! You CAN do it and the ALC-certified Training Ride Leaders are here to make sure you have all the support and encouragement you need. We are friendly, fun and ALL skill levels are welcome.

NO RIDER WILL EVER BE LEFT BEHIND. Please be prepared for our safety presentation at 7:15AM (mandatory). If you get lost in Griffith Park or having trouble finding the starting point please call Doreen at 310-210-7382

Please familiarize yourself with AIDS/LifeCycle COVID-19 Protocols prior to arriving at the start of the ride.
