After we stretched our legs for 100 miles along PCH last weekend, it’s time to put our climbing legs back on to get ready for Day On The Ride! Join Chain Gang for a fun day of climbing around Sun Valley, Montrose and Pasadena.

From Griffith Park, we warm up with a loop around the studios before heading out through Glendale to Sun Valley and make our way up and over La Tuna Canyon. After a break at Coffee Bean in Montrose, we head up into La Canada and Pasadena to tackle the climb up Lida, and continuing xlimbing up Chevy Chase back to Descanco and our second pit stop at Starbucks. From there, it’s all downhill for a glorious final 10+miles back to Crystal Springs in Griffith Park.

Driving Direction: We meet at the Lower Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park – from Crystal Springs Drive, go down the hill past the Ranger Station, and keep to the right at the bottom of the hill at the bathroom building. Continue along the far side of the baseball field until the road turns to the left away from the field. We will be in that part of the parking lot, look for TRL’s in bright orange vests

Please familiarize yourself with AIDS/LifeCycle COVID-19 Protocols prior to arriving at the start of the ride.
