Advanced` #6 GMR to Baldy Village with Optional Ski Lifts. Back to GMR, but this time we make a right onto GRR and head on over to Baldy Village. You can enjoy lunch before you decend back to the car, or you can keep climbing to the Ski Lifts! The climb to the ski lifts is no joke and is considered the hardest climb in the continental US with grades up to 17% (From the village to the ski lifts is 5 miles, but you gain 2300 ft. of elevation)
Team FUBAR motto is “Find Strength in the Struggle”. We conduct some of the most challenging training rides in the SoCal ALC community, with the aim of ensuring that riders are empowered to ride all 545 miles come June.

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s) & snacks, tire changing tools, pump/Co2 cartridge, and a mask. If you don’t have any of the items listed, please contact us. We’ll help you figure out what you need and where to get it!
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.RSVP
