52 Miles – 3,000 feet elevation gain, Steep Hills with Long Climbs (Additional Details Below)
Meet Time: 8:00 am
Ride-Out Time: 8:30 am
Starting from Encino, the ride heads north into Porter Ranch where we take a break at Starbucks. However, what is notable about this ride is the serious climb up Santa Susana Pass Road from Chatsworth into Simi Valley. And what really stands out is after the second rest stop at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, riders will turn around and go back over Santa Susana Pass Road in the other direction!
Next, we’ll pass through some old west country around Chatsworth Reservoir and Lake Manor. There is a third optional rest stop at another Starbucks in Woodland Hills before crossing the Dumetz double hills on the way back to Encino.
