As we close out 2019, it’s time to start training for ALC 2020!! If you are like me and haven’t been on your bike since June (Yikes, I know!) it’s time to dust off that bike and get pedaling!
This is a great beginner ride for riders new to AIDS/LifeCycle.
Our agenda is as follows: -Sign-In / Route Slips -ALC Pillars of Safety -Bike ABCs (Air, Brakes, Chain/Cables/Clips) -Clipping In/Out while Starting/Stopping -Riding in Traffic
Required to bring: Bike, helmet, ID, cash/cards, portable bike pump or CO2 cartridge pump, 2 spare tubes, 2 water bottles (1 with electrolytes, 1 with water), small snacks for fuel.
Nice to have: Bike shorts/bibs, jersey, sunblock, chamois cream, bike light(s), sunglasses
Bring your friends, family, etc. We will be riding in traffic, so if you are not familiar with this kind of riding, please be extra cautious and review AIDS/LifeCycle’s safety guidelines HERE.
