43 and 57  miles, Rolling Hills with Steep Climbs

With the crazy and very unusual weather patterns we’ve been experiencing planning our weekly rides has been more challenging then riding 545 miles from SF to LA.

With the iffy weather conditions the exact route that we will/might be doing will not be known until the morning of the ride.

This weeks scheduled ride is one of our Santiago Canyon rides with additional mileage added on the Advanced Route that will take us up into Anaheim Hills. This Advanced Route is slated to have well over 3,000ft of climbing with some very steep descents.

In light rain or wet roadways this would not be the safest of routes to do, so we are in the process of creating alternative routes that will be within the same mileage as stated above, but will be safer on moist/wet roadways.

In the event of sustained rains early in the morning that appears to be lasting well into our ride time, depending on the conditions we might make the decision to cancel the ride. An email will go out to all that RSVP on the morning of the ride by 7:00am IF we will NOT be riding.
