Training Wheels is a welcoming and inclusive group of riders in the South Bay area. We welcome riders of all skill and experience levels. Our training gradually increases strength and endurance over the season, building steadily to a fitness level where you will ride to LA! And have fun while doing so.
Confidence building of a sort is on the docket for today. It’s a day of long, relatively flat, stretches. Possibly winds from all directions. You will find you are much more comfortable and confident on your bike, if you’ve been keeping up with your training.
This route seems to have a surprise in store each year. And is a different experience each time we ride it.
Parking: Street parking is available on Pear Ave. If you park in the lot, you risk getting towed. That would be a bummer so make sure to park on the street.
All skill levels welcome. Even if you have just started training, just show up and we’ll take care of you.

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.RSVP
