Training Wheels is a welcoming and inclusive group of riders in the South Bay area. We welcome riders of all skill and experience levels. Our training gradually increases strength and endurance over the season, building steadily to a fitness level where you will ride to LA! And have fun while doing so.
Not one, not two, but three reservoirs will be included on today’s tour. I didn’t know we had that many around here. One even has an abandoned bridge in the middle connected to nothing, only visible with low water levels. Building endurance with each revolution, remind yourself to pedal and not coast.
Parking: Street parking is available on Pear Ave. If you park in the lot, you risk getting towed. That would be a bummer so make sure to park on the street.
All skill levels are welcome, and late starters encouraged to join and ride until you have to staop. We’ll take care of you. And you’ll have a great bike ride. That’s a win.

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.RSVP
