Meet Time: 7:30am
Ride-Out Time: 8:00am
Rain Cancels
Back by popular demand, we’ll ride the quiet rural roads around Fayetteville in search of pie! This ride has 3 loops, all of which start and end at the Fayetteville Town Square. You can do any combination of the 3 loops. If you do them all, you will ride 90 miles and climb 5256 ft! You can get pie and other goodies at Orsak’s Cafe or Joe’s Place in Fayetteville, or you can ride the 49-mile route and indulge in exceptional pie at Royer’s Pie Haven in Round Top, which serves as our second rest stop on that loop. These routes are loaded with hills, some of which have inclines up to 11%. Given that we’re getting into late April, heat can be an issue. Be sure that you’re well hydrated before ride start and are acclimated to the heat. During the ride, drink plenty of water and electrolytes to stay hydrated. Ride start and all rest stops have food and plumbed rest rooms.
