Waller Wanderlust
32 or 51 Miles, Mostly Flat
Meet: 8:15 AM
Ride-Out: 9:00 AM
Heavy Rain Cancels
This month, we’ll rove around Waller County, and even stray into Harris County, using Waller as our base. The first loop of 32.5 miles starts at the Waller Auxiliary Stadium, heads to Field Store for our first rest stop and then through a beautiful stretch of road forested by pines to Zube Park, which will serve as our second rest stop before we head back to Waller. The second loop of 19 miles heads west through Pine Island and back to Waller but has no rest stops besides the Chevron station at ride start. Most of the roads have light traffic. FM 362 has moderate traffic but has an ample shoulder. Be sure that you are prepared for possible cold or wet weather! All riders must have a helmet that fits properly and is in good condition.
All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
