A Great Cause

Every year we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of thousands living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS. Over the past 10 years, we have raised over 66 million dollars.

The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation develop and implement innovative programs to prevent new infections and provide those living with HIV access to medical care, counseling and housing.

The San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center rely on the funds from AIDS/LifeCycle to continue our work.

Challenge Yourself
AIDS/LifeCycle is a 545-mile, seven day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. It's a life-changing ride − not a race − through some of California's most beautiful countryside.

Our certified Training Ride Leaders will help you get physically ready, whether you're a beginner or an experienced cyclist. Weekly training rides will range from short, easy rides to longer, more challenging routes.

To assist you with your training program, we host a variety of workshops and clinics year-round including:

  • Creating a personalized plan
  • Nutrition & hydration
  • Bike maintenance
  • Skills clinics
