SMS TEXT MESSAGES FROM AIDS/LIFECYCLE

1. We will use text messaging to contact event participants with event details and follow up action items, and to answer questions.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@aidslifecycle.org.

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive weekly marketing messages, as well as daily operational messages from AIDS/LifeCycle during the week of event. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

AIDS/LifeCycle 2024 COVID-19 Precautions

At AIDS/LifeCycle, we are committed to providing a safe experience for our participants, volunteers, vendors, staff, and the communities that welcome us. With that in mind, we strongly encourage everyone to take the following steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses while on event:

  • Get an updated COVID-19 vaccine for up-to-date protection! Go here for the latest guidance.
  • Get tested if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Stay home if you are sick, and come prepared with a plan for getting home should you become sick while on the event and no longer feel like you can continue.
  • Wear a well-fitted mask over your nose and mouth if you feel sick and share space with others.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS

Travel into the United States requires adherence to certain guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control, and guidance continues to change as COVID-19 and its variants evolve. Stay up to date with guidance by reviewing the CDC’s Air Travel website before traveling.
