Orientation Day will open at 10 AM and close at 6 PM. Please arrive no later than 2 PM. Plan to spend up to 3 hours completing your Orienation Day process. Lines are shorter in the afternoon.

Both Cyclists and Roadies will need to bring your E-Ticket (available in your Participant Center) and valid identification (driver's license or other photo identification) for Orientation Day.

Cyclists: park your bike FIRST before completing any of the following steps (unless you've shipped your bike to Orientation Day via McCollister's or ACE Ride).

The following steps must be completed before proceeding to Check-In. Some of these steps may be completed online in the Participant Center before Orientation Day. Your E-Ticket, which is continuously updated, will show which of the steps you've already completed, and which steps you'll need to complete on Orientation Day. Please print your E-Ticket and bring it with you on Orientation Day. We recommend printing it as close to Orientation Day as possible so that your E-Ticket reflects the most up-to-date information.

Donor Services
  • All Cyclists must have at least $3000 showing in their fundraising account before checking in.
  • Beginning in May, Cyclists who have not met the fundraising minimum may complete a Donation Guarantee online in the Participant Center to bypass the Donor Services area on Orientation Day.
  • For Cyclists who have met their $3000 fundraising minimum and Roadies, there will be an Express Line where you can drop off your additional donations. However, if you would like your donations to count toward earning one of the fundraising incentives, you must go through the regular Donor Services line.

Medical
  • To ensure the health and safety of all participants, everyone must submit a Medical Waiver prior to checking in.
  • Beginning in April, participants may complete the Medical Waiver online in the Participant Center to bypass this step on Orientation Day. Your E-ticket will be updated to reflect that you've completed this step online.

Orientation & Safety Video
  • All participants must see the Orientation & Safety Video in its entirety before checking in.
  • Screenings are every half hour starting at 10 AM.
  • Following the video, participants will be issued a safety wristband; participants must wear this wristband during the entire week of AIDS/LifeCycle.
  • It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the AIDS/LifeCycle Code of Conduct.

Tent Assignment
  • All participants must receive a tent assignment, even if you won't be tenting.
  • If you do not have a tentmate we will assign you a tentmate on Orientation Day.

The following step must be completed last:

Check In
  • All participants will receive their participant wristbands in their Check-In packet. These wristbands must be worn during the entirety of AIDS/LifeCycle.
  • Cyclists will also receive their helmet and bike frame numbers. These numbers must be displayed on your helmet and on your bike during the entirety of AIDS/LifeCycle.
Please Bring

  • Your credit card and/or checkbook
You'll need these if you haven't met your fundraising minimum, or if you want to do some shopping at the ALC Store.
