Women’s Training Ride!
25 Miles, Rolling hills and a some climbs
Meet: 8:30 AM
Ride-Out: 9:00 AM
Rain Cancels
Join our Women’s training ride! We’ve got a sweet 25 mile route to enjoy together. We will meet at Orinda BART parking lot (the lot attached to the station) and ride out to Alamo for a coffee stop. We’ll pedal our way back to Orinda. This is a sweet ride for getting some rolling hills as well as flat terrain. This group ride is the perfect time to ask questions about the Ride and get to know each other.
The route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38120932/
We’ll have printed route sheets for all who RSVP and we’ll go over important safety tips in the morning (please arrive at 8:30). AIDS/LifeCycle training rides are planned and supported by volunteer Training Ride Leaders, riders of all levels of experience are welcome, and we can’t wait to train with you this season!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP – it helps our ride leaders plan. If you have questions reach out to Maggie Monroe mmonroe@aidslifecycle.org
REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
If you experience problems with the RSVP button, please email the RSVP to mmonroe@aidslifecycle.org
