Let’s celebrate Women’s History Month with a gorgeous day on bikes with fabulous women and nonbinary folks in the AIDS/LifeCycle community. Your friends are always welcome to join us and there’s still time to register for AIDS/LifeCycle.
The Scenic Carquinez Loop is a classic well-loved training route. You can expect beautiful views as we head down San Pablo Dam Rd and cruise along Carquinez Scenic Drive. Along the way we have some hills to climb! If you need a shorter ride you can exit at mile 37 and take BART to the start point/head home. We have 2 coffee/short rest stops and a lunch stop.
VERY IMPORTANT: WE WILL MEET IN THE LOT ADJACENT TO BART STATION. THIS IS NOT THE LOT ACROSS THE STREET FROM STATION. THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS RIDES.
Printed route sheets available if you RSVP. Safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations!
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP so we have an idea of whose coming. Have questions? Contact Maggie Monroe at mmonroe@aidslifecycle.org
REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
