Houston-Area ALC Training Series

This ride is all about the pie!!! We have three routes, all of which start and end at Royers Pie Haven, home to the best pie in Texas! With 15 different pies on the menu, there will be several just for you. You can have a slice for each route! First route is 37 miles with a rest stop at the Fayetteville Town Square, where the annual Art Walk show will be underway. Second route of 19 miles heads north of Round Top to the Waldeck Cemetery area and has the least climbing of the three routes. Third route heads southeast of Round Top to Shelby with more good climbs. All routes are full of rolling hills. Please park in the dirt parking lot off Live Oak St/FM 1457 to keep parking spaces on Henkel Circle open for others.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations!
