Houston-Area ALC Training Series
Ride the hills northwest and northeast of Bellville while the wildflowers are in full bloom! First route takes us through Industry and Kenney. It’s 43 miles of rolling hills and one steep climb with an 8% grade. Second route takes us to Buckhorn, where the rolling hills are not as steep. At Buckhorn, we can decide to make it a 24-mile loop back to Bellville or continue on to Chappell Hill for a 35-mile out-and-back. First route has 2 rest stops. Each alternate 2nd route has one rest stop. Roads are Texas highways with wide shoulders and light to moderate traffic and rural roads with little to no traffic. Ride will be re-scheduled in event of rain.
