October 16, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

2022 AIDS/LifeCycle Kickoff Ride — Houston

Join us for a festive start to training for AIDS/LifeCycle 2022 on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Waller Auxiliary Stadium. Wheels Roll at 9:00 AM!

The route will start and end at the Waller Auxiliary Stadium Parking Lot at the corner of Daugherty St and Field Store Rd in Waller, TX. The route will traverse the mostly flat plain to Field Store then will do a small loop to return back to start. Most of the route is a rural road with low traffic. About 1 mile of the route is on a highway with a shoulder and moderate traffic. There is a service station next to the ride start. A second service station midway along the route will serve as our rest stop. Additional loops of 10 miles and 15 miles are available for those who want to ride longer distances after the primary route is completed.

Contacts: Chuck D’Angelo at or Alison Frey at

Rain Policy: Ride will be re-scheduled for another date if it cannot be held on October 16 because of rain.

IMPORTANT: Proof of vaccination, photo ID verification, and masks are required for participation. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson shot or second Pfizer/Moderna shot by October 2nd. The most recent CDC guidelines on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 can be found here.
