“December 1st is World AIDS Day, and Positive Pedalers are hosting a special training ride to commemorate this day with a visit to the Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument in Lincoln Park, the first publicly funded AIDS monument in the US.
We will meet at Lower Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park for a short, simple ride along the river bike path and into Lincoln Park to Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument. We will gather there for a short vigil and moment of silence to remember all those we have lost, and share our memories and why we ride. We will have the chance to explore the monument before returning to Griffith Park the way we came.”
