70 Miles, Steep Hills and Long Climbs

Rain Cancels
We’ll meet at Townie at 7 am, ride out at 7:30. We’ll shoot down valley all the way to Indio. Then, we’ll head back west through Palm Desert to climb the 74. After a fast downhill, we’ll pit at Starbucks at Bob Hope, then hit Cat City Cove for another climb. After another pit, we’ll head back into PS via the CV Link around the north end of town.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
