We will start at Lake Murray Park, near the corner of Lake Murray & Kiowa in La Mesa.
Getting there: I-8 E to the Lake Murray Bl exit (stay to the right), Cross the bridge, The park entrance is two lights up on Kiowa.
Take a left (see mapping on where we’re meeting up) Route: We start at Lake Murray, and head south, skirting between Spring Valley & Lemon Grove, heading south into Chula Vista, and the Eastlake “district”. There is one sustained climb, “like Torrey” around mile 13, at the crest, we hit RS1 for either Halo Halo (smoothies) or SBUX (mi 15). RS2, after traversing a lot of Chula Vista, happens at mile 33. A revisit to Bonita Donuts or a local taco shop nearby. More shorter inclines await after RS2.
