Messages of Support for Kari

Lisa Robson (6/19/08 11:37PM): Hey,

It was great seeing you tonight.

lisa

John Hauenstein (#2400) (6/11/08 1:10PM): Hi Kari,

I hope you are catching up on some well deserved rest. Thanks again for all your hard work before and during the ride to make it such a success for me personally and overall. All the best to you this summer as you take a breather before starting the process all over again. I really hope to do it next year if I can convince my partner to do it with me either as a roadie or as a cyclist.

Take care, John

Alecia #1647 (5/20/08 10:22AM): Hey Kari!! Only 12 more days! I cant wait for the ride, and I cant wait to meet you!! Have a great day!-Alecia

Andy F (4/30/08 8:25PM): Kari, Thank you for being a great cycle buddy. Just the right mix of inspiration and motivation. I really look forward to meeting you in person when I make my way West in a few weeks. In the meantime, many more questions coming...I am sure. - Andy

Annette (4/14/08 9:38PM): Cycle Buddy, what could I possibly say that you don't already know? I'll simply repeat a few lines from last year....So thank you Kari. Thank you for always being there for me when I have doubts and fears....If it hadn't been for your kindness, your friendship and your hugs I wouldn't be going on the greatest adventure of my life.

You're Simply the Best CB and maybe one day I'll get you to take a spin class. XO Annette >>: )

gina (3/06/08 2:42PM): Hey Kari! Good info meeting yesterday. It inspired me to be very productive today... I typed up my letter this morning and now I'm on my way to the print shop to do my snail mail campaign. I am all blogged out now, literally (check out the re-design on my page :) Javi

Phillip Velasquez (1/10/08 7:24PM): Hey this is Phillip and You are my cycle buddy! I look forward to meeting you soon. I see that u are from SF. Im from Fremont, however my girlfriend lives in SF. So im there a lot. If you want to go on a ride any time, please email or call me. thanks for all of your help, for i have many questions and look forward to learning a lot. Have a fabulous day, and take care!

Meredith Slater (1/07/08 8:38PM): Hi Kari! So glad to have someone around to help me out with my questions! First off, I've just gotten my packet and noticed the kick off party was THIS Sunday! I'm planning on going to Tahoe... would you recommend I head back early to catch the event on Sunday? I would like to meet others doing the ride and all that, and free stuff is always good... will there be any other events like the Kick off or is this it? Please let me know. Calling me is better than email, but either is fine. Thanks!!

Cara (12/18/07 9:17AM): Hey Kari! Can't wait to get rolling! Looking forward to this awesome event and teaming up with you. :-)

kip norwood (12/13/07 9:14PM): Kari thank you so much for you're encouragement. I can't wait to meet you in person.

Lisa (12/03/07 5:07PM): Hey Kari - You rule! Thanks for being my Cycle Buddy!

Lisa

Susan B. Moore (10/31/07 9:56AM): Kari, You are my cycle buddy. I just wanted to let you know that I got your voicemail message and I am doing fine. Training - I have been riding all year (I am up to 1300 miles YTD) and spinning during the week (in a class that Mark Smith often attends). I did the Training Ride #1 last Sunday. I am a member of the Oakland Yellow Jackets. I plan to continue riding througout the fall and winter, increasing duration in the spring.

Fundraising - I am not at all worried. I have started drafting a letter to friends and family.

Other concerns - # concern is camping.

Call Marie Pompa if you haven't talked to her this week. She did the short training ride on Sunday and was involved in a bike accident. She's OK but sore.

If you don't hear from me, don't worry. I work a lot of hours and have limited spare time.

THANKS

Kristina (10/22/07 6:07PM): Hi Kari! It's been far too long since my last AIDS Ride and I can't wait to get back. It's truly a personal evolution of enormous proportions, and the people I've met are amazing. Thank you for being here for us as our Cycle Buddy. See you in June!

Carol (9/07/07 11:16PM): Kari - I'm glad you're "out there." As a total newbie, I know so little I don't even know what to ask yet. I'm a little scared, but excited -- and have 'way to much to read. Catch you later.

Craig (8/14/07 2:04PM): Hey, BUDDY! I'm so glad to be one of "your" participants - and know that when I have questions or panic attacks (not that I plan on that) you are just steps away. Hugs ~ Craig
