I'm Riding to End AIDS

From June 1-7, 2008, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

I'm riding again... Actually I love it, It is hard work and sometimes I hate the bike (especially when it is cold) and though I'm not really that social, I find the whole experience very uplifting to my soul and I'm making new friends all the time.

What is really heart lifting is when you can help someone, who is just trying their heart out, and just needs a bit of encouragement.

The other things that are really heart lifting, yes, sometimes we forget why we are riding, when we are tired and crany, so when you see someone, who has just lost a person they loved to AIDS, or someone whose life was saved by these organizations  - it just reminds you...

A) your life no matter how crappy, is much better than you think.

B)  Makes you really thankful that your life is full of the people that you have in your life...

C) glad that you are doing something to help someone else

Help me support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

The fact that you are again putting yourself out there and doing something for some one else, tells me that you are the kind of person ANYONE would be glad to call, " FRIEND ". I am so looking forward to a BIG hug from you each and every day of ALC 7. Be well rested for our week on the road, and always take time to stop and smell the flowers. Talk with the children and adults. And Thank the person who's there to help you as well. See you next week. Aloha,Ginger Brewlay ALC 7 Roadie # 9113
